A £14,000 JCB digger which was stolen has been found in Bedfordshire - more than 150 miles from where it was taken.
Officers in Rossendale have been working with Bedfordshire Police after the JCB Mini Excavator was found in the Midlands county.
One man has been arrested by Lancashire Constabulary and questioned for the theft.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: “The Rural Task Force are currently investigating an incident which took place in Rossendale whereby a JCB Mini Excavator worth approximately £14,000 was stolen.
“So far one male has been arrested and questioned by us for this and last week police have recovered the stolen machine down in Bedfordshire.
“Another example of us working in conjunction with other forces and agencies.”
Enquiries are ongoing.
