A new family festival complete with tribute acts and a circus is heading to East Lancashire this summer.

Festiva, which is billed as a 'brand new ultimate family festival experience', will arrive in Great Harwood on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August.

Taking place at Great Harwood Showground, the spectacular two-day event will boast top music tribute acts and artists, an action-packed entertainment program for kids including a circus and fairground rides, inflatables, and a first-class food, beer and cocktails arena serving food and drink from around the world.

With more than one hundred activities and attractions aimed at all ages, Festiva is an all-inclusive value-packed festival, with one ticket unlocking the entire program of entertainment, with unlimited use of all rides and attractions.

The impressive festival site set over 22 acres will feature dozens of inflatables of all sizes for kids and teens to enjoy, from the ultimate assault course, enormous slides, bungee run, ultimate wipeout and trampolines to an inflatable helter-skelter.

There will also be a Silcock fairground, packed with rides including the Star Flyer at more than 200ft tall, the Freak Out, to family favorites such as the dodgems, waltzers, and twister amongst smaller rides for the not so adventurous.

A freestyle motocross show and an extreme mountain bike show will cater for the thrill seekers, while kids can experience an exclusive ‘meet the dinosaurs’ experience.

The Festiva Circus Big Top will be filled with performers, including escape artists, sword swallowers, acrobats, jugglers, bubbleologists and more, with an array of shows taking place throughout the day.

Younger children can also discover activities such as face painting, balloonists and magic shows, spread across the festival site and inside the dedicated childrens marquee.

Festiva also caters for those looking to listen to some amazing music while soaking up the festival atmosphere with friends and family as the internationally acclaimed ABBA tribute show, Björn Again will headline Saturday’s music program.

Bjorn Again be joined by Queen tribute MERCURY and Kevin Simm, winner of the Voice and now lead singer of Wet, Wet, Wet.

Classic-rock act UK Rock Show, band Boomin and Cirque: The Greatest Show< also join the bill with an awesome tribute to The Greatest Showman, performing all the hits from the blockbuster movie.

Sunday’s music offering will feature a headline performance from the world’s premier Beatles cover band and festival favorites, The Bootleg Beatles.

Other tribute acts joining them on day two of the festival include multi-award-winning Oasis tribute band Oasish, Pink, Ed Sheeran, 24k Bruno Mars and Whitney Houston tributes.

The food and drink arena will serve an impressive selection of quality food and drink curated in partnership with the Great British Food Festival.

The food and drink arena will house three individual marquees, with Irish, Spanish, and Caribbean themed tents which will include many unique food stalls and an amazing champagne and cocktail bar from top mixologists, and an impressive VIP area.
