A special programme of events is being held at one of Lancashire's castles this month to mark St George's Day.
On April 23, people across England will celebrate the country's patron saint St George.
At Clitheroe Castle, a 'Slay Boredom' event, run by Academie Glorianna from the British Federation for Swordmanship, will take place on Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24, from 11am to 3.45pm.
Armour-clad experts will give jousting demonstrations, combat displays and bitesize talks.
In the run up to St George's Day, children can enjoy searching for toy rabbits hidden at the museum, with the winner receiving a goodie bag full of items from the museum shop.
There is also the chance to take part in the daily children's craft.
Children can decorate their very own ceramic rabbit, chick or lamb tealight holder to take home. Crafts vary in price and are available from the admissions desk.
Free activity sheets will also be available, as well as a cozy reading corner.
Acting head of cultural services at Lancashire County Council, Steve Lloyd, said: "We've got loads of fun and educational activities for families to take part in this year.
"The 'Slay Boredom' event on St George's weekend promises to be especially enthralling, and we're excited for you to join us.
"St George's Day is a special date in the English calendar and we would love people from across Lancashire and beyond to join us to celebrate it at Clitheroe Castle."
All St George's weekend events are free.
Admission to the Castle Museum is £4.90 for adults and £3.70 for concessions.
Children and young people up to the age of 18 years go free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The recently relaunched 'Xplorer' pass can also be used to gain entry to the Castle Museum.
For a flat annual fee of £20, families will be able to make as many visits as they like to Clitheroe Castle Museum and four other Lancashire County Council museums.
One pass entitles two adults and two concessions (including the pass holder) entry to Clitheroe Castle Museum; Judges' Lodgings in Lancaster; Gawthorpe Hall in Padiham; Helmshore Mills in Rossendale and Queen Street Mill in Burnley.
Limited disabled parking is available at Clitheroe Castle Museum. Parking is also available on car parks in the town centre.
