OCCASIONALLY we come across pictures in our archives which raise more questions than they answer. And that’s where you come in.
Take this photo which is dated March 13, 1963 and simply says on the back 'Nelson’s pre-fab shanty town'.
In the early Sixties pre-fabs, essentially kit houses, were one solution to an on-going housing shortage. But do you know where in Nelson they were? Did you even live in one?
