PRIMARY school pupils have taken part in a major litter pick as as part of the Keep Britain Tidy Campaign.
Children and staff from St Alban's Primary School in Trinity Street, Blackburn were litter picking all week in a bid to keep their local neighbourhood clean.
On Friday, April 8, Year 6 litter pickers were joined by Blackburn with Darwen Environmental Education Officer Sally Booth and collected a total of 18 bags.
Altogether, children aged from 3 to 11 collected 33 bags of rubbish surpassing, their target of 30 bags.
The teams have litter picked on Trinity Street, Birley Street, Primrose Bank and Cleaver Street.
