Lancashire’s Paris Fury has shared a candid and inspirational message to her Instagram followers after posing in a makeup-free selfie.

Paris, who is an author and the wife of heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury, told her 882,000 followers that they are “beautiful” in their own way and don’t need to all “look the same”.

Paris, who lives in Morecambe, said: “Being natural isn’t a statement, it’s the closest thing to being yourself.

“At 32, with many miles behind me, I feel totally comfortable and confident in myself and I would love to push this onto young women.

“You are all beautiful in your own way, [even] without the makeup, lashes, filler.

“We don’t all need to look the same to feel beautiful. I don’t have big lips or long lashes - but I do have freckles and some blemishes… but hey, I’m me.”

More than 75,000 people have liked Paris’ post with many commenting about the mum-of-six’s natural beauty, as well as social media culture.

One person said: “You are pushing the right message, especially when you have daughters yourself.”

Another person said: “This social media culture of young women wearing the same face is becoming sad to see.

“Enhance with makeup … but too many quite literally have the same doctored features.”

“Social media does so much damage to young girls of today,” commented a third. “It’s lovely to see natural beauty in a woman.”

“You’re a natural beauty inside and out and thank for putting this out for girls out there,” said another.

Last year, Paris published a book called Love and Fury: The Magic and Mayhem of Life with Tyson, which details the highs and lows of living with her boxing champion husband as he battles his mental health issues.

Tyson is preparing for his upcoming fight against Dillian Whyte, which takes place on April 23 at Wembley Stadium.
