The line up for this year's Darwen Live festival has now been revealed.

The annual live music event, which this year is being held on the weekend of June 4/5, will feature Hot Chocolate as Sunday headliners, as well as comedy-folk band the Lancashire Hotpots.

Lancashire Telegraph:

And in a fitting tribute to two East Lancashire musicians, Jack Anwyl and Jonathan Lindley, who sadly died earlier this year, the main stage at the festival has been named in honour of them.

A spokesperson for Darwen Live said: "We can now reveal the line up for the Lindley Anwyl Main Stage in the market square on June 4 and 5.

"Both of these men were passionate about music and loved Darwen Live so it seemed fitting to pay tribute in our own small way.

"Over the next week or so we'll be posting a little bit about each of the artists and we will also be listing the line up for Darwen Library Theatre.

Lancashire Telegraph:

"Don't forget if there's nothing here for you then there are plenty of other venues which offer everything from DJ's to tribute acts and everything in between."
