The roof of a house has collapsed during stormy weather.
Emergency services were called at 5.22am on Monday to Carrington Road in Chorley after receiving reports of a partial roof collapse.
According to fire crews the property was derelict but the search and rescue dog was sent to the incident too as a precaution.
Fire fighters worked with the local authority to make sure the building was safe and cordoned off the immediate area.
The local authority will now deal with the incident and send out building surveyors to assess the damage before further steps are taken.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham, and the search dog attended a derelict house collapse on Carrington Road, Chorley.
