A Mercedes driver will have to explain himself to magistrates after sticking his finger up at a speed camera while travelling at 103mph.
The incident happened on the M65 on Friday, when the driver of the car gave a one fingered salute to the camera technician on the bridge over the M65.
Unluckily for the driver, police had actually clocked him doing 103mph a few hundred metres earlier and have now reported him for speeding offences.
A spokesperson for the police said: "To the Mercedes driver who gave a one fingered salute to the camera technician on the bridge over the M65 today.
"We would like to assure you that you were in fact captured a few hundred metres earlier doing 103mph.
"You will soon be invited to explain this in court."
