The Met Office has put a yellow weather warning in place for much of the North West today, including Blackburn and Lancashire.

The weather warning in place is a result of Storm Corrie, which could create disruption from 3pm on Sunday, January 30 to 12pm on Monday January 31.

The winds on Sunday and Monday are expected to reach a peak of between 50-60mph.

High winds could cause some travel disruption and damage across the whole of the UK, including power cuts and travel delays and cancellations.
