TWO readers have been presented with their prizes from the Lancashire Telegraph’s Big Gadget Giveaway and Blackburn Rovers promotion.
Christopher Blackburn, of Full View, Blackburn, won the Rovers shirt after entering the competition, while David Alderson, of Brownhill Road, Blackburn, was awarded the Amazon Fire Tablet.
Mr Blackburn said: “I thought thousands would enter and that I wouldn’t have a chance. I have been to quite a few games in the past and always support them when they are on the TV. It’s great having a signed shirt, there are about 15 signatures on the shirt. It’s even better that my surname is Blackburn too!”
Mr Alderson said: “It was a real shock – it was great. I have never won these kinds of competitions before.”
The gadget giveaway is still running in the Lancashire Telegraph with a new prize each week. Entrants can win TVs and tech by submitting an answer to a question by post.
