A cloned Honda Civic was stung after it failed to stop for police.
The driver, who was later found to be high on cannabis, ran from the scene but was detained following a police chase.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, the car, pictured, failed to stop for officers as it entered Blackburn.
Police had identified the vehicle as being cloned, but the driver sped off, resulting in a pursuit through the town.
Luckily, the vehicle was stung, but the driver ran off.
Officers chased him and eventually detained and arrested him.
He tested positive for cannabis following a drugs wipe but refused to give a sample at the station.
A spokesperson for the police said: "In the early hours of this morning this Honda Civic failed to stop for police after it had been identified as being a cloned vehicle.
"The driver didn't want to speak to officers and after a pursuit, the vehicles was stung. The driver was then detained after a foot pursuit.
"He tested positive on a drugs wipe for cannabis and refused to provide a sample in custody.
"He will now be processed for the multiple offences he has committed."
