Carole Roe from Oswaldtwistle, died peacefully on January 12.

She worked as a cook at St Nicholas School, she also worked as an evening Supervisor at the Co-Op and later at the SPAR on Thwaites Road before retiring.

She enjoyed going on holiday and has visited places all over the globe, with her favourite destination being Swanage where she went with her family. She loved socialising with her family and friends, especially where there was music as she could often be seen strutting her stuff on the dance floor. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She leaves behind her brother Kevin, daughters Sarah-Jane, Anna-Louise, Clare-Marie and Laura-Beth, her son-in-laws Dave, Rob and Mick, her treasured grandchildren Joseph, Ryan, Josh, Charley, Jonothon, Zak, Jordon, Katelyn, Kyron, Lewis, Dj, Lukas, Jessica, Jemma, Kyle, Alfie and Riley and also great grandchildren Archie, Alyla, Grayson and Lenny.

Carole will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and her friends.

A Celebration Of Life service will take place at 3.00pm, on Wednesday 26th January at Accrington Crematorium.
