Two men have appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with robbery and kidnap.

Yesterday, the court was told the alarm was raised when the alleged victim was found wandering on Pendle Hill in the early hours of Sunday.

He claimed he had arranged a meeting on Columbia Way, Blackburn, where two men had got into his car and assaulted him.

He was then forced out of the car on Pendle Hill.

Former Great Britain boxer, Moeen Khan, 23, of Ontario Close, Blackburn, and Qahher Hameed, 18, of Country Mews, Blackburn, were sent in custody to Preston Crown Court charged with kidnapping Zoaib Mohammed and robbing him of his car, phone and £60 cash.

They will appear before the crown court on February 14.
