Road block in place and road closed after overnight accident
A ROAD was closed overnight following an accident.
The emergency services were called to an incident on Haslingden Old Road between the junctions of Stanhill Road and Garsden Avenue in Oswaldtwistle in the early hours.
A road closure had to be put in place as the accident was dealt with.
It is not known if anybody sustained any injuries at this point.
A spokesman said: “We have had a road blocked on Haslingden Old Road between the junctions of Stanhill Road and Garsden Avenue in Oswaldtwistle, this is due to a road traffic collision.
“Please be aware when travelling in the area.”
