Drink-driver who refused to stop on motorway fell out of his car
A DRIVER who was four times over the legal limit for alcohol ‘fell out of the car’.
Officers had to pop three of the vehicle’s tyres after the driver failed to pull over on the M55 near Preston.
When it eventually rolled to a holt, the driver fell out of the car when the door was opened.
A spokesman said: “Vehicle seen weaving its merry way along the M55 at Preston. It initially failed to stop so we helped by popping 3 of its tyres. The driver fell out of the car when we opened the door and provided a roadside breath test nearly 4x the legal limit.”
