Pendelfin factory blaze, 1986
A plume of smoke rises into the sky above Burnley following a fire which caused severe damage to the Pendelfin factory at Cameron Mill in June 1986.
Production of the world-famous pottery was halted and many of the popular rabbit character figures were destroyed.
Pendelfin would continue to manufacture in Burnley until 2006 when the firm was bought out and moved to the north east
