A landmark pub has re-opened following a £100,000 investment.

The development and refurbishment of The Fairhaven in Lytham has created 17 jobs in the area and is offering a brand new menu, which includes afternoon tea and Sunday roasts.

Inside, The Fairhaven has been refreshed with an eclectic modern décor.

A blend of modern and traditional combine to create a warm, welcoming environment.

With seating options at every turn, from quiet, secluded nooks to family tables – there is the perfect space for every get-together.

A pool table and dart board are also available.

Outside, the traditional picnic-style tables have been renewed and refurbished.

The ideal vantage point to watch the word go by and maybe even for a spot of bird watching.

The team cannot promise the weather, but they can guarantee the proximity to Fairhaven Lake and beautiful local scenery as the pub is perfectly situated for the RSPB Fairhaven Lake Visitor Centre, the shore of the Ribble and Alt estuaries and the Irish Sea beyond.

General Manager of The Fairhaven, Lisa McCabe, said: “I am so excited about the future of The Fairhaven.

"The team love the pub’s new look and can’t wait to show people around whenever someone walks through the door.

"The new menu is delicious and truly has something for everybody.

“It is a new chapter and I cannot wait to see the pub go from strength to strength.

"We are delighted to welcome guests, events and the local community again.”

Food is served from 10am to 9pm daily, and weekly events such as band nights and pub quizzes are also on offer.
