MIDGE Ure has postponed his show at King George’s Hall, Blackburn from March 2 until 2023 due to Covid fears.
The former Ultravox singer has rearranged his Voice and Visions tour dates this spring and summer to next year.
This is the second time the show has been rearranged due to the pandemic
He said: “It’s just the news that none of us wanted to hear but we have taken the decision to postpone the tour due to the massive surge in Omicron. You guys have been unbelievably patient waiting for the tour to happen and I thank you for that.
"I feel dreadfully sorry for you guys and my musicians and crew who have not worked for nearly two years.
"Some of them are vulnerable and we have to keep them safe and we have to keep you safe.
“If you can, please hang on to your tickets which are valid for the new date. We can only do what the science tells us and that is to keep each other safe. I am as devastated as you are.”
The show has been rearranged to May 16, 2023.
