A WOMAN called police after a neighbour started head butting her windows and throwing milk crates around her drive in the early hours of the morning.

Blackburn magistrates heard Anthony David Goggins complied with a request to go home but then started banging on the wall and was arrested.

Goggins, 47, of Heys Close, Blackburn, admitted a breach of the peace. He was bound over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for six months.

Gareth Price, defending, said his client, who had no previous convictions, had lived at the address for six years and there had been no previous incident.

“He has a generally positive relationship with his neighbours,” said Mr Price.

“He was arrested in the early hours of Saturday and has had over 48 hours in a police cell to reflect on his behaviour.”
