It was a gloriously sunny day when this aerial photo of Blackburn town centre was taken in 1992.
The bright sunlight allows us to see the town in really clear detail. In the foreground you can see both the old town hall and newer town hall tower block rising out of the shopping centre.
In the foreground you can see the exit ramps to the car park and the pay booths. King George’s Hall and the courts complex stand behind King William Street on the right of the photo with Blackburn College behind them.
