A man has been given a conditional discharge and told to pay £207 in costs after stealing pregnancy tests and Easter eggs from a One Stop Shop.
David Talbot, 44, appeared before Preston Magistrates on Wednesday December 22 charged with theft from the shop in Bacup on March 2 2021.
The court heard how Talbot, of Pickup Street, Bacup, stole a number of store items including phone chargers, Easter eggs and pregnancy tests, of a value unknown from the convenience store.
He pleaded guilty to the offences and was handed a conditional discharge of 12 months, ordered to pay £100 in compensation, a £22 victim surcharge and £85 in costs, totalling £207.
He had until December 22 to pay the total amount.
