A cannabis farm containing 500 plants has been found inside a property.
Officers from the taskforce and neighbourhood teams in Preston executed a drugs warrant at an address in Manchester Road on Tuesday morning.
While carrying out the raid, they found 500 plants inside the premises in what appeared to be part of a cultivation which had been there for some time.
The cannabis grow is now being dismantled by the police.
A spokesperson for the police said: "In a joint operation with Preston Taskforce and Preston neighbourhood policing team, a drugs warrant was executed on an address on Manchester Road today.
"Up to 500 plants have been located at the premises and it appears to be a cannabis cultivation over a lengthy period of time.
"We are currently in the process of removing the cultivation.
"The warrant was executed based on intelligence and Preston Police would like to thank the community with their support of this."
