A driver who tried to outrun police has been arrested for dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen
Officers spotted the vehicle, pictured, in Chorley late on Monday evening and immediately carried out a pursuit.
The driver failed to stop, so police carried out a sting operation and managed to halt the vehicle following a lengthy chase, before boxing it in.
The driver then tried to run from officers but was detained and arrested for dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen.
His vehicle was also seized.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Vehicle sighted driving at speed towards Chorley.
"HO50 and MN18 got behind as it failed to stop.
"Vehicle pursued some distance before being stung by MN38.
"Driver tried to run from the vehicle before being detained.
"Driver arrested for dangerous driving and failing to provide."
