Meanwhile, the Latics enter the game on the back of an emphatic 6-0 win against Oldham in the Papa John’s Trophy.

The cup clash takes place at the DW Stadium on Saturday afternoon (KO 3pm).

Rovers are expected to take a strong following, having sold out their allocation of 3,500 tickets.
