Huncoat and Padiham Power Stations from the air
This photo from the archives is noteworthy as it shows not one but two East Lancashire power stations at work.
This aerial view shows Huncoat Power Station in the foreground with Padiham Power Station behind it. We think the picture was taken around 1982, two years before Huncoat Power Station closed. Padiham would continue to operate until 1993
