A museum is asking the public to draw a sketch to contribute towards a '64 million artists' challenge.

Clitheroe Castle Museum is hosting the challenge throughout January, collaborating with the 64 million artists January challenge.

They are asking the public who visit the castle to draw a sketch as they leave and hand it in, representing this year's themes of "We Are Human", "We Are Culture" and "We Are Connected."

Claire Sutton, Museum Manager at Clitheroe Castle said: "We thought it would be great to have one continuous community artwork that all our visitors could contribute to.

"So, why not dust off your creative skills and go freestyle or use the creative prompts to celebrate the start of 2022.

"The space is free to access so why not drop in, get involved and make your creative mark.

"There's lots to see in the Museum too!"

Founded in 2014, 64 Million Artists works with schools universities, cities, workplaces, cultural institutions and health and government bodies to experiment with ways of reconnecting people with creativity.
