UPDATE: Aiden has now been found safe and well
Police are needing help to find a vulnerable man who went missing from his home in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Officers are appealing for information to help find missing Aiden O'Brien.
Aiden, 39, left his address in Padiham around 5.30am today (Wednesday, January 5) and has not been seen since.
He is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of very slim build with blonde hair.
He is wearing a dark blue jacket, blue denim jeans and possibly sandy-coloured walking boots.
He may also have a back pack with him.
Aiden is vulnerable and police are very concerned for his welfare.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We are urging anyone who knows where he is, or has any information, to call police immediately on 101 quoting log 0249 of January 5.
"In an emergency always call 999."
