Britain's largest family has welcomed a new addition to their ever-growing 'litter'

The Radfords, who live in Morecambe, took to Instagram on Wednesday night to show off the latest addition to their household.

But instead of annoucing news of another baby in the family, of which there are already 22 members, Mum, Sue, introduced the family's social media following to Arlo, a Miniature Daschund puppy.

Sue posted a picture of the cute little pooch to her 430,000 followers, as he stared adoringly at the camera while resting on a Christmas dog blanket.

Captioning the shot, Sue wrote: "Did we mention we have a new addition to the family?

"Our little Arlo #miniaturedaschund #silverdapple."

Fans of the Radfords, made famous in 2012 when they appeared on Channel 4 documentary show, 15 Kids and Counting, were besotted with little Arlo.

One user commented "He's goregous. Can't wait to see him on the big screen."

While another wrote: "Awww so cute. We have a little sausage dog called Bella Boo. Welcome to Arlo."

A third person said: "Super cute and very adorable."

The Radfords already have four dogs; three French Bulldogs called Ivy, Mabel and Bluebell, a Collie called Lola, and two bunnies called Oreo and Peter.
