A market hall will be closed for several days going into the new year.
Blackburn market, in the town centre, will remain open for customers on New Year's Eve from 8.30am until 4pm.
Situated within the Mall, the market will them be closed for three days until it will re-open to customers on January 4.
A spokesperson for the market said: "We’re open normal hours today, and then 8:30-4 tomorrow for New Years Eve!
"After that we will be closed until January the 4th, and then expect to be back in full swing for 2022.
"We wish you all a safe and celebratory transition into the new year, and hope to see you all again."
The Mall will be open from 9am until 4.30pm on New Year's Eve and will be closed on New Years Day.
It will then be open as usual under normal trading hours.
