Vaccination sites across East Lancashire are continuing to jab all adults as Prime Minister Boris Johnson bids for all over 18s to be boosted by the end of the year.

Walk-in sites are available across Pennine Lancashire between now and January 2 for anybody who is wishing to have their first, second or booster Covid vaccination.

In Blackburn, the site at the Cathedral will be open from 8am to 8pm on December 29 and 30, and January 2, while on December 31 it will be closed. On January 1, the site will be open from 1pm until 8pm.

Walk-in appointments will not be available at the Cathedral between 12pm and 3pm.

At Royal Blackburn Hospital, the vaccination site is open from 8am until 8pm every day except on New Year's Eve (December 31) where it will be open from 8am until 2pm. The site is closed on New Year's Day.

In Darwen, the Everest Pharmacy is offering vaccinations from December 30 until January 2 for walk ins. The site is open every day from 10am until 1pm. On December 30, there is an extra session from 2pm until 5pm; on December 31, the afternoon walk-in vaccines are available between 2pm and 6pm. On January 1 and 2, walk-in jabs are available between 2pm and 4pm.

The ACT centre in Accrington is also allowing walk-ins between 9am and 5.30pm on December 30 and January 1.

In Burnley, the shopping centre will be offering walk-in vaccinations from 8am until 8pm every day from now until January 2, with the exception of December 31, when they are closed, and January 1, when they will be open between 1pm and 8pm.
