A joint investigation has been launched after a fire ripped through a house.
On Thursday, emergency services were called to Mill Close on Thornton-Cleveleys after receiving reports of a house fire.
While the fire caused substantial damage to the property, thankfully no-one was injured.
The police and fire service have now launched an joint investigation into the blaze as they believe it was started deliberately.
A spokesperson for the police said: "On Thursday December 2 at approximately 10.30pm, we received a call regarding a house fire at Mill Close, Thornton.
"The fire caused damage to the property but thankfully, no one was injured.
"Lancashire Constabulary and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service will jointly investigate as it is believed that the fire was started deliberately.
"We are appealing for any relevant CCTV, ring Doorbell or dash cam footage taken between 10pm and 11pm in the area.
"This includes Fleetwood Road South, Amounderness Way and the area around Norcross Roundabout.
"If you live nearby or believe you can help, please check your footage and upload it."
