A café has unveiled its new disposable cups featuring some of Blackburn’s most famous landmarks.
Chaii Café which is based on Freckleton Street opened in April this year. The new hot drinks cups include Blackburn Cathedral, the Victoria Building, The Lloyds Bank building, the Town Hall and the Ice Arena.
Also included is the Wainwright Bridge and the solitary spire of Chapel Street Independent Church on Saint Peter Street, which are both located nearby to the café.
Koolsum from the café said: “We wanted to celebrate the famous landmarks of Blackburn. We get a lot of visitors from outside town to the café so it is good way of giving them a little bit of the town to take away with them.
“The response so far has been really good and people are just happy to be celebrating the town’s landmarks.”
Formerly a dilapidated building, the 42-seater café, opposite the new Home Bargains store also offers street food snacks such as chicken tikka rolls and kofta burgers.
