DETECTIVES investigating a robbery have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to as part of their enquiries.
Lancashire Police attended Sudellside Street, Darwen, just after 10pm on November 20 following reports a man had been assaulted and forcibly removed from his Peugeot 108.
The Peugeot was later found abandoned in Preston Road, Chorley.
Fortunately, the victim - a man in his 50s - was not seriously injured.
Detectives have undertaken a number of enquiries to identify those responsible and now want to speak to the men in the CCTV.
DC Emlyn Parry, of East CID, said: "This was a shocking incident which has understandably left the victim extremely shaken.
"Enquiries are very much ongoing to identify those responsible and we now need to speak to the individuals in the CCTV. I would ask anybody who recognises them – or the men themselves – to get in contact with police as soon as possible."
Anyone with information is asked to email 2405@lancashire.police.uk or call 101, quoting log 1561 of November 20, 2021.
