A new housing development has officially opened its doors to the public.

Homebuilder, Northstone, opened two show homes last week just off Barrowford Road, Barrowford in the coming weeks.

The development offers a range of two, three and four-bedrooms homes.

Each four-bedroom home at Keld comes with a shed as standard– Northstone's new take on the traditional shed – which can be fitted with WiFi and electricity to transform it into any usable space, from a home office to a gym or play room.

Prospective homebuyers are invited to book appointments to visit The Huddle, Keld’s visitor hub, as well as the two show homes, and those who reserve before the end of the year, will be moved in by Spring 2022.

The twelve77 and thirteen70 are both four-bedrooms homes – named to reflect the square footage.

And Keld is also the first Northstone community to include the homebuilder’s new eleven51 house type, a three-bedroom three-storey home.

Keld’s sales executive, Glenn Siddall, said: “Our vision for Keld builds on the existing vibrant community and picturesque surroundings of Barrowford.

"From speaking to people and businesses in the local area, there’s an amazing sense of community here that we know will be appealing to both existing locals looking for something new, and people thinking of moving to the area for the first time.

“We knew there was a real demand for larger homes with outdoor space in the local area, but we were blown away with how many people visited over launch weekend and reserved a home at Keld.

"The combination of Barrowford’s stunning location, independent local amenities and our beautifully-designed, spacious homes make a unique offer for homebuyers.”
