A DRIVER will receive an invite to court after they were clocked travelling at more than twice the legal speed limit.
Earlier this week the driver was clocked at 61mph while travelling along Westway in Burnley, which has a limit of 30mph.
A police spokesman said: “Earlier this week, we detected a vehicle travelling on Westway, Burnley, (30mph limit road) at 61mph! That's more than double the speed limit! This type of speed on a busy road will always result in you getting a letter to court and a conversation with a magistrate!”
