Here is a list of the major supermarkets in Blackburn town centre and when it is best to visit them:
Asda Blackburn Superstore
Where: Re. Park, Lower Audley St, Grimshaw Park, Blackburn BB2 3DY
Opening times: Monday - Thursday 8am - 10pm, Friday 8am - 10pm, Saturday 12am - 10pm, Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm.
Busiest times: Monday to Friday, 11am - 1pm looks like the peak time for visiting Asda.
On weekends, it tends to get busy towards 11am until around 6pm, so it is probably best to avoid doing a shop on a weekend if you want to avoid the crowds.
Quietest times: Mornings from 8am - 10am and evenings from 6pm are the quietest times.
Tesco Superstore

Opening times: Monday - Saturday 6am - 12am, Sunday 10am - 4pm
Busiest times: Monday to Friday, 11am - 2pm is the busiest time for visiting Tesco.
