A SANTA experience will be coming to a Blackburn park.
Children can come and chat with Santa at his grotto at Witton Country Park, meet the elves and get up close to his real reindeer.
The event was organised after last month's cancellation of a Lapland Village event due to be held at Witton Park in the run-up to Christmas.
A spokesperson for the new event said: "Come and meet Santa and tell him all you are hoping for this Christmas, a visit to us is sure to put you on the good list. They may even be some surprises along the way.
"Receive a gift from your favourite big man in red, we look forward to giving you a warm welcome at Witton Park this December.
"We have real life reindeer down the park at Witton. The only place you can see Santa and real reindeer, in addition to this there are ponies, rabbits, goats and birds at the visitor centre."
The Santa's grotto event runs from Friday December 3 to Thursday December 23 with the reindeer there on weekends and selected other days.
Tickets are £10 midweek and £15 weekend.
