POLICE are seeking three teenagers in connection with a stabbing in Hale earlier in the month.

Officers were called to Ashley Road at around 12.40am on November 7 to reports of a stabbing.

They arrived to find a 22-year-old man had been stabbed in the stomach and legs. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

As part of the investigation, police are looking to speak to two boys and a girl seen in and around Hale train station before the stabbing.

The boys are described as white, aged between 15 and 17 and around 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in in height.

One of them was of a medium build, one of them was of a skinny build, and both of them were wearing dark tracksuits.

The girl is described as aged between 15 to 17 with mid-length hair. She was wearing a light tracksuit with a dark jacket.

Detective Constable Housley, of GMP Trafford, said: "This was a vicious, unprovoked attack on a young man, and it's lucky that no one was more seriously hurt.

"This kind of violent behaviour will not be tolerated, and we will continue to follow all lines of enquiry to ensure those responsible face the consequences of their actions."
