TWO lanes of a busy motorway are closed as emergency services deal with an accident.
There is around five miles of congestion on the M6 close to junction 28 for Leyland this morning.

The highways agency is warning people that the tailbacks are causing delays of around 40 minutes.
A spokesman said: “Two lanes (of three) closed on the #M6 southbound between J28 #Leyland and J29 #Burnley due to a collision. There is approx. 5 miles of congestion which is likely to add around 40 mins onto usual journey times.”
