Former SAS: Who Dares Wins star, Ant Middleton, has shared a post-workout picture of himself in Blackpool.

Middleton was in the Lancashire town for his Mind Over Muscle: Zero Negativity tour and he said he “couldn’t resist” taking a snap of the stunning illuminations after his run.

In the picture, he can be seen posing in front of The Big One Blackpool Pleasure Beach ride.

Posting to Facebook, the 41-year-old wrote: “Loved Blackpool last night (19 November)…

“Great reception, great people and a great town!

“Had to get out after and run around for a bit… It’s the lights, I couldn’t resist!”

At the time of writing, the post has received over 22,000 interactions with hundreds flocking to the comment section to discuss the photo and his tour.

Sara Laurence said: “Wow this brings back memories! As kids we used to look out the back window up at the lights as we drove along.”

Another wrote: “It was an incredible show absolute legend! Never watched anything as inspirational, powerful and moving as this was! What a great genuine guy.”

Tracy Holt added: “Thoroughly enjoyed last night in Blackpool, Ant … truly inspiring and motivational speaking right there! What an absolute legend!”

"Oh why didn't you say you were going to Blackpool we could have met up, got a few doughnuts and had a stroll hand in hand on the beach. I only live down the road," joked another.

Ant’s Blackpool show might be over but there are still many more dates lined up in Lancashire.

Ant will be coming to Blackburn’s King George’s Hall on 26 November and sharing personal stories from his extreme adventures and TV shows, explaining how he harnesses fear and lived life without limits.

On the new tour, Ant said: The power of your mind is stronger than physicality.

“I’ll share life skills and philosophy on how to live your best life. There are two lives you can be living, the one you are living now and the better one which is just a step away!”

Ticket prices for the King George’s Hall event start from £29.50 and there are still some available.
