Blackburn technology company Nybble IT has opened a new showroom in the town.

The company was based on the corner of Darwen Street and Mincing Lane before relocating to new offices on Capricorn Park in 2019 as part of expansion plans.

Its hopes of unveiling their new showroom were put on hold due to Covid.

Managing director Ram Gupta said he was delighted to finally launching the new showroom.

He said: “Our plans were always to change the perception of Nybble as a town centre retailer and to create a full service IT agency delivering managed IT support, software development services plus audio visual, digital signage and video conferencing solutions.

“We have achieved this objective and are now concentrating on providing an amazing showroom to provide our clients with a showcase for the latest developments in digital technology.”

Nybble IT supplies the latest technology to a wide range of organisations nationwide.

The new showroom was opened by MP Kate Hollern and Mayor Cllr Derek Hardman and was attended by over 60 local businesses.

Mr Gupta added: “We look forward to opening our doors to local businesses who are looking to improve their communications using the latest digital technologies. They can see them in action in safe, comfortable surroundings and talk to the experts who can guide and recommend a huge range of solutions.

“We are grateful to the mayor and local MP for their support.”

The event culminated with the presentation of a £1,500 cheque for the mayor’s charity. The money was raised at a special Diwali Festival held at Blackburn Rovers.

Nybble recently won the Commitment to Blackburn with Darwen Award at the 2021 Hive awards. It is also a patron of Blackburn Youth Zone, founder of the Saffron Group and sponsor of East Lancashire Hospice.
