A busy Blackburn road was closed in both directions as emergency services dealt with a road traffic collision.
A car had overturned on Buncer Lane (Sunday 21 November) with traffic being diverted on to Higher Witton Road and Wensley Road.
The grey Peugeot SUV is believed to have been heading down Buncer Lane towards Preston Old Road and hit a parked vehicle. One person had been taken to hospital.
A recovery truck was on site at 6.45pm moving the vehicle from the footpath. The road was reopened after 7pm.
An elderly driver was assisted by residents.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue posted: "At 17:01 on 21st November, two fire engines from Blackburn and Nelson attended a road traffic collision on Buncer Lane, Blackburn.
"The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters helped one casualty from their vehicle and administered first aid. The casualty was then placed in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. They were in attendance for approximately half an hour."
A woman at the scene said two dogs were in the vehicle. One dog - a chihuahua - had gone missing and run away following the collision.
Anyone with information should call Blackburn Police.
