Snow is set the sweep across the UK later this month – and Met Office forecasters say we could see the white stuff in East Lancashire.
After a largely mild November, temperatures across the nation are set to plummet to single digits with snow set to hit the north of the UK before moving south.
At the time of writing, BBC weather forecasters said Lancashire won’t escape the cold weather with snow predicted for some parts of the region.
Some Lancashire towns are expected to be hit with “light snow showers” and sleet.
When is it predicted to snow in Blackburn?
Yesterday evening, (18 November) BBC Weather forecasters say heavy snow will sweep across Blackburn from next Thursday (25 November).
“Heavy snow showers” and a “gentle breeze” were the cards. Temperatures are also set to plummet to 1°C – although it will feel more like -1°C.

BBC Weather has now downgraded Blackburn's snow risk and say cloudy skies instead of heavy snow are looking more likely next Thursday.
However, the temperature is still expected to plummet to 1°C and light snow showers are predicted for Sunday.
The wintry conditions are set to carry on into the weekend with sleet showers predicted for Friday (26 November).
Light rain and a gentle breeze is in the forecast for Saturday (27th November).
Sunday's weather (28th November) is currently set to bring some light snow showers and a gentle breeze.
The wintry conditions are expected to clear up by Monday 29 November when cloudy skies and sunny intervals are expected.
