Blackburn born AJ Odudu is at the bottom of the leader board following Paso Doble.

The presenter, whose mother attended the live show, scored 28 for the intimate dance with professional Kai Widdrington in week eight of the show, seeing her place at the bottom of the leader board, one point behind Dan and Nadiya, and Tilly and Nikita.

Following her performance of the Spanish dance, presenter Tess Daly commented that AJ and Kai were the top scorers for the competition.

All of the judges had improvements for the AJ, with Craig Revel Horwood commenting that she looked ‘pedestrian’ in the walks, while Shirley Ballas adding that there wasn’t enough flamenco.

She received a 6, 7, 7 and 8 - a total score of 28.

The results will be shown on BBC1 on Sunday night at 7.15pm.
