IT was Blackburn’s premier nightclub - the place to go for a night out.
Peppermint Place took over from the Cavendish as Blackburn’s musical mecca situated above the town’s shopping centre and reached via a staircase from Lord Square.
During the 1980s, the club would be packed on Friday and Saturday nights and often hosted public appearances by well known faces including aspiring pop acts and celebrities from TV. It even hosted Hit Man and Her introduced by Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan
