Emmerdale star, Adam Thomas, has tested his bravery by taking a ride on the ‘world’s biggest mobile reverse bungee’ at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.

The bungee shoots you 180ft in the air and will give you some fantastic views of Manchester (if you manage to open your eyes).

Actor, Adam Thomas, and entrepreneur, Scott Graham, were the first people to try out the ride before it opens to the public at the Trafford Centre on 13 November – and their reactions are priceless.

Adam said he was “really nervous” about taking on the ride but added that “it’s gotta be done.”

Adam added: “At Oh My Glaze (restaurant) at the Trafford Centre you can get a burger, a beer and a bungee all for £20.

“I would advise you to have the burger and beer after the bungee.”

Squeezing Scott’s hand, Adam screams “I’m feeling sick… am I strapped in? This has happened far too fast” before being launched into the air.

“Now that is a bungee,” he screamed once the bungee came to a stop, “It’s terrifying!”.

Street food stall Oh My Glaze, renowned on the Manchester street food scene for its sticky chicken wings and fiery sauces, came to the Trafford Centre at the end of October.

Oh My Glaze, set up in 2015, is the brainchild of founder Scott Graham and actor Adam Thomas, best friends turned business partners who also own The Spinn in Gatley.

Actor and I’m a Celebrity Star, Adam Thomas, said: “From serving our famous Oh My Glaze wraps on the streets for five years we finally have a place we can call home: the iconic Trafford Centre!

“We’re buzzing to be launching this new venture, and after looking for several sites to launch our first Oh My Glaze kitchen we felt the Trafford Centre was the place to be.

“There are so many exciting things happening in and around Manchester, especially at the Trafford Centre, and we felt we had to be in the mix. And so, here we are… expect the unexpected and be part of the next chapter with Oh My Glaze!”

If you just want to take on the ride, it will be open from 13 November until early January next to the Great Hall in the Trafford Centre.

The ride is £15 per person.
