LEEE John, lead singer of Eighties’ dance favourites Imagination has announced a show at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall in March.
With their blend of soul, funk and disco Imagination had a string of top 10 hits including Just An Illusion, Body Talk and Music and Lights. The band notched up album sales of more than 30 million and were at the forefront of the Brit soul revival in the Eighties.
Leee was a flamboyant frontman - still remembered for his Top of the Pops appearances in a variety of outrageous outfits.
Many of the songs co-written by Lee have been sampled by a wide range of artists ranging from Destiny’s Child to Mariah Carey. He has also had a successful career as an actor
With his new show, Leee will celebrate his remarkable career in music with all the hits performed live.
