AN MP has launched his annual Christmas card competition for primary school pupils.
Pendle Tory Andrew Stephenson is looking for original designs for his festive message.
The chosen design will be reproduced on the front of Mr Stephenson’s official Christmas card which goes to thousands of people including local councillors, fellow MPs, the Prime Minister and even the Queen.
Mr Stephenson said, “I am delighted that Silentnight have again agreed to sponsor this year’s competition, meaning that there are some excellent prizes on offer.
"Every year my office receive hundreds of wonderful designs from school children across Pendle and I can’t wait to see this year’s entries.”
To enter, children’s designs must be returned to his Barnoldswick or Nelson office (4 Church Street, Barnoldswick or 9 Cross Street, Nelson) by Friday November 12.
The winning design will be chosen by Monday November 15.
