Overnight road closure as emergency services dealt with accident
A ROAD closure was in place overnight following an accident.
Mitton Road, between the Aspinall Arms and Mitton Hall, was closed during the early hours of Saturday following the accident.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area and to use a suitable diversion route as emergency services were on the scene.
It is not currently known if any injuries were sustained during the accident.
